Harley - My Stud |
I breed pet quality puppies, in my own home, with my own dogs, I have four breeding females
and one breeding male, who does stud out to other females on occasion, with a contract. I follow up after my grandpuppies
are placed and require that you sign a contract with me that this puppy will never be put in a shelter, if you can't keep
'em, bring them back and I will find them a home. I love my own dogs, and they live with me, in my home, they are happy
and healthy animals and produce happy and healthy puppies, in 10 years of breeding I have no health problems with my puppies
and I'm commonly recommended by local vets for this reason. I do occasionally have umbilical hernia's which are common for
the breed and will often need no attention or surgery to fix, and I will tell you if that is the case with your puppy.
I usually have a waiting list before each litter is born, however I do occasionally have some left after that.
When selecting a ShihTzu, sex does not matter, males and females are all equally easy to train,
and equally loving, gentle dogs, when raised correctly. They will not always stay the color that they are as puppies, they
may lighten or darken, and I do not guarantee color at all, If they are solid black or white or a mix of black and white,
they will remain that way, browns, brindles and mix's all change color, with my Harley, he was solid brown brindle at
birth and is now a beautiful blue brindle! They are essentially non shedding, at 8 to 10 months they "blow" their puppy coats
and get their adult coats in, at this time I recommend cutting the coat short, as it will matt terribly, non spayed females
will do this every 6-8 months during their breeding cycle, females may also become moody and snippy at this time, which is
why I recommend spaying and neutering your puppy. Thanks for your interest in my pups and please e-mail with any
other questions.
